WoW Forever's minimum specs are Windows 10 64-bit, a 4-core CPU, a 4 GB DirectX 12 GPU and 8 GB of RAM, with 128 GB free on an SSD. It's out on Windows and Mac; no console version has been announced.
The WoW Forever beta runs September 17 to October 21, 2026, capped at level 30. The Epic Pack, Warcraft Forever Collection and Collector's Edition guarantee access; the free Beta Opt-In doesn't.
The WoW Forever Collector's Edition costs $150 on the US Blizzard Gear Store and includes a Warcraft Forever Collection code, a 13-inch dwarf and bear statue, a mousepad, art prints, pins and a companion journal.
Heroic ($29.99/€29.99) unlocks Skyborne and Early Name Reservation. Epic ($59.99/€59.99) adds guaranteed beta and 30 days of Game Time. The Collection ($79.99/€79.99) adds Warcraft III: Reforged and Forsaken Kingdom on top.
WoW Forever isn't free, but you don't buy it separately: it's included with an active WoW subscription or Game Time. Optional upgrades with the Skyborne race start at $29.99 / €29.99.
WoW Forever is a new, permanent World of Warcraft game alongside modern WoW and Classic. It's set in a reimagined vanilla-era Azeroth with a level 60 cap, new zones, dungeons, raids and the Skyborne race.
WoW Forever launches worldwide on November 4, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST (11:00 p.m. UTC). An active WoW subscription or Game Time is all you need to play.
