What does error WOW51900319 mean?

If the screen says "You have been disconnected from the server" with code WOW51900319, the game lost its connection to the WoW servers. The code doesn't say your PC or account is broken; it only says the link dropped somewhere. Blizzard's WOW51900319 article asks you to check for a general outage first.

Short answer

WOW51900319 means the game lost its connection to the WoW servers; it isn't a ban. If everyone drops, follow @BlizzardCSEU_EN for the outage. If only you, restart the PC and modem, run the repair tool, disable addons and reset your UI.

Did everyone drop, or only you?

For European realms, follow @BlizzardCSEU_EN on X; for the Americas, @BlizzardCS. If your guild or party dropped at the same time, the problem isn't on your side; leave your settings alone and wait.

Expect this on launch day: WoW Forever opens on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST, and mass disconnects and queues are normal in the first hours. For queues and realm status, see the server status guide.

If only one character keeps dropping, Blizzard suggests one more option: moving the character with the self-service tool. If nothing works, the last resort is turning on "Enable IPv6 when available" under Game Menu > Options > Network. Blizzard warns it can cause other problems in some regions; if it does, turn it back off.

I got WOW51900319 during an item restoration

That's normal. According to Blizzard, this error can appear while an item restoration runs on an online character. Log back in, your items will be there, and you can keep playing.

FAQ

Is WOW51900319 a ban?
No. The code only says the connection dropped. An account closure or suspension comes with its own message.
Will a VPN fix it?
Blizzard's steps don't include a VPN. Restart your modem and try another network first; if it works on your phone's mobile data, the problem is your ISP.
